can i get by with only one kettlebell or should i buy 2?

i want to get into kettlebells. they seem pretty expensive so i was wondering if id be okay to do a wide variety of exercises with only one or should i get 2.

If you only have one, you are going to limit yourself as you’ll need different weights to challenge yourself properly on different moves. For instance, you’d probably use a much heavier weight on two arm swings than you would on a 1 arm snatch.

But, you’re right, they are pricey and the S&H can kill you. Check out http://www.kettlestacks.com/ . They have a very cool alternative that I use in my studio.

combat control training?

im going to the air force for combat control and i need to get into the best shape possible before i go. right now im running 4-6 miles a day, swimming 500 meters and doing a crossfit program any other tips to get preparerd?

yes you deffinelty need to get in really good shape i met some combat controlers at pope air force base those guys are pretty tough seems like your doing good on your training maybe you should try lifting weights too to help you get your strength up you need to build your legs up for long ruck marches up to 12 miles with a 50 pound ruck sack good luck

does anyone have any adivce for crossfit for mma?

ok so i do crossfit for mma and bascially my cardio sucks, and i smoke and i know i have to quit but this is what im going to do today (ive already done it but i have to get better) we have to do those things where you jump on and off of the box then we go to the kettle bell and swing it then we take a medicine ball and throw it up then catch it and go into a squat and we have to do it for ten minutes but each time around you add one more to each workout so its like yo start out jumping on and off the box 3 time then kettle bell for time then medicine ball 5 times then it goes box 4 time kettle bell 5 times and medicine ball 6 times and so on and so on until you get 12 times on each but it takes about ten minutes and its called ten minutes in hell and it wears me out because my cardio really sucks bad and my strength isnt as good as it used to be. so what should i do other than quit smoking, drink alot of water and eat? thank you. Besides quit smoking, spar, spar, spar, spar and spar the actual execution of techniques and the conditioning of your body will help you learn how to breath and gain endurance. Weights don’t hit back!
