This is my Round II video for the P90X/Insanity Fusion workout. The first round was strictly P90X, but for my second round of the program, I implemented various cardio workouts from insanity on the non-lift days of P90X.

I worked out my calves on a calf machine on tuesday, then took a day off on Wednesday with moderate muscle soreness, worked out thursday with no real problems until thursday evening. When i sit down for a long period of time and then stand up my calves are screaming at me for stretching. after stretching them out they feel fine, but when i sit down for anything longer than 4-5 minutes they get all tense again and it is very painful to straighten them. Getting up to pee at night is really painful and i have to duck walk to the bathroom. The real problem is, i’m scheduled to try crossfit in the morning and I do not want to miss it because I have had to skip it for almost 2 months running due to money complications. Any tips or suggestions?
If you are just starting to weight train leg muscles, they are among the most painful at first. You can experience mucle soreness up to 2 – 3 weeks after your first session back, and difficulty in walking up to 10 days. Continuing the regimen, will hasten the recovery and cause a dramatic reduction of post-workout pain in the future.
Fat loss is not what you think. There’s a whole lot more to it than eating less and exercising more. Your fat is a symptom of underlying systemic malfunctions. When these systems are imbalanced, the body manifests the internal disorder as fatigue, infections, PMS, weight gain, etc.
Only by addressing the ROOT CAUSE of your weight gain can you get back to a healthy weight. Yet, getting yourself healthy is the first step to long-term weight loss success. There are no shortcuts. Shortcuts will only set you up for failure.
Stop doing the wrong things and start doing the right things. Starving oneself never works! You must feed your body what it needs to stay vital. Then, it will reward you with the physique that you’ve always wanted.
