the jumping and … the jumping and everything looks all right tho, its mainly the deadlifts because it looks like they’re just using momentum and not controlling their movement imo
ic. just a little … ic. just a little apprehensive about exercises like these because I did fracture both my knees doing workouts like these. Granted, it was probably a combination of that and playing too much tennis and running too much, but yea. i get your point
you build up to it. … you build up to it….one thing about crossfit is when you get to the point of being able to do the workouts your body is so strong it doesnt get injured easily anymore. your more likely to get injured if you do nothing then go out and try something like this then if you have a good exercise regiment.
i have to disagree, … i have to disagree, im also a trainer and they are coming down at enough of an angle is the horizontal plane to not cause any form of shoulder impingement. and there is not much of a risk at all with floor wipers, and the deads are fine, anyone with bad form is using less weight
Hey man Im glad … Hey man Im glad your seeing results and have been doing it a long time thats really a credit to you and your trainers. But the ones that are getting injured why arnt they stopped and corrected? Even one injury through lack of supervision or bad form can come back and bite a trainer in the ass. I love crossfit and when I build my own gym it will be one of the main programs I will offer. All Im saying is people need to educated and supervised in correct technique and not left to do their own thing
Hey man my bad on … Hey man my bad on not explaining myself, Im a trainer myself and personally love crossfit I think it has major benefits. But form and safety are big issue for example pull-ups, there is no control these people are coming down hard putting alot of strain on the elbow joint. The floor wipers none of those people show any control or stability. And deadlifts unless done properly are a very dangerous exercise here they using too much back and not enough leg, Perfect form reduces injuries.
I’ve been doing … I’ve been doing Crossfit for over a year and a half now, and love every day of it. Most people at the gym have been there for a long time. Once you crossfit you don’t stop. Most don’t get injured, the ones that due don’t listen to the instructors because they think they know how to do the exercise when in fact they don’t.
haha wow. ya it … haha wow. ya it might be cheating if you’re doing a back and bi’s day at a globo gym. a kipping pull up is a different exercise than a “REAL” pull up. it incorporates more of the body in order to create a different velocity, which becomes useful in xfit workouts which are for time. kipping pull ups and “REAL” pull ups are two different things. sry BONER but it is in fact as (if not more) “E”ffective as a real pull up. not all of us are solely focused on our lats.
what exectly does a … what exectly does a kipping pull up do?? because it is not as affective a a REAL pull up.. kipping is another word for cheating..
just cause you puke … just cause you puke doesnt mean its a good workout. you could probly make yourself puke making beds as fast as you can for 30 minutes
impressive looking … impressive looking workout, but like most crossfit workouts it’s not about the quality it’s about the quantity. i would have loved to see them slow the reps down a bit and actually focus on the movement rather than on the number of reps. but you can’t argue with people that have drunk the Crossfit Kool Aid.

There is no …
There is no emphasis on form here. How many people have injured themselves doing this? How many people have stayed long term?
